We’ve hit the ground running since our return home from the Chocology Gives Back Road Trip! This past week, with ingredients in hand, we headed to our test kitchen for some Research and Development (to try out some new flavors) for our Fat Ass Fudge line. And boy, have we come up with some fudge we think you’re going to love!

How about salted chocolate caramel? Or, white chocolate raspberry? Maybe cappuccino or cappuccino with cacao-nibs strikes your fancy? We’re so excited to continue testing new flavors. A bit of this…a tad of that…you never know what we’ll come up with when we’re experimenting with chocolate!

This weekend we were busy sharing our new creations with the world.  Sunday morning from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chocology set up our Fat-Ass Fudge push-cart at the Port Jefferson Farmer’s Marketselling our tried and true fudge and offering free taste-tests of our new fudge creations—both cappuccino’s were a big hit! Your input is always important to us! We loved getting feedback from our Farmer’s Market patrons.

After that, we packed up and headed on over to the Long Island Aquarium for the Taste the East End/Edible East End event from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m! Our newest creation, White Chocolate Raspberry paired well with Martha Clara Vineyards,  Northern Solstice Dry Rose. Wine and chocolate? Can it get any better than that? We also learned our White Chocolate Raspberry also paired well with Woodside Orchards Raspberry Hard Cider.  We so much enjoyed spending the evening enjoying wine, chocolate and new friends!  We were so busy we didn’t have chance to take any pictures, if you were at the event and have pictures please send them to us…we’d love to share them!  Thank you.

This week, we’ll head back to the test kitchen to combine two of our favorite things . . . Maple Bacon  and chocolate! It’s breakfast and dessert all rolled into one! We can’t wait to see how it turns out! And, we look forward to sharing all of our sweet successes with you.

Did you come out to visit us at the Farmer’s Market? Or maybe you joined us for wine and fudge on Sunday evening? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Let us know what you thought about our new fudge creations in the comments, on Facebook or Twitter.

Here’s wishing you all a week full of success, wellness and chocolate!
