This summer, we're delighted to introduce Chocology in Bloom—a seasonal celebration of chocolate, flowers, herbs, fruit, and fragrance. Throughout July and August, our shop will become a place where curiosity leads the way and every visit invites you to engage your senses in a new way.
Chocolate Begins with a Fruit
Many people are surprised to learn that chocolate begins its journey as the seed of a tropical fruit.
Like wine, coffee, tea, and honey, fine chocolate reflects its environment. The soil, rainfall, climate, nearby flowers, surrounding plants, and even the local ecosystem influence the flavors found in every cacao bean.
That's why one chocolate may remind you of ripe blueberries, while another evokes lavender, basil, citrus blossoms, mint, rose petals, or passion fruit.
These flavors aren't added.
They're discovered.
